Possible Causes

Damaged rear loop sensor, Loose rear sensor wiring, Moisture ingress in the sensor housing, Faulty main board sensor channel.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Press STOP and turn the main switch off before handling the mower.

  • Clean rear underside: Remove grass and dirt from the rear chassis area where the sensor is located. Ensure no debris is wedged between the mower and the ground.
  • Inspect sensor housing: Check for cracks, missing covers, or signs of water ingress around the rear sensor area.
  • Check wiring: Open the mower according to Husqvarna instructions and trace the rear sensor cable to the main PCB. Confirm the connector is fully seated and the cable is not pinched or cut.
  • Dry out moisture: If moisture is present, allow the mower to dry indoors for 24 hours. Do not use heat guns; room temperature drying is sufficient.
  • Re-test: Reassemble, power on, and test near the charging station and boundary wire.
  • Replace rear sensor: If the error remains, replace the rear loop sensor assembly with the correct Husqvarna part number for your model.
