Possible Causes
Moisture in keypad, Damaged keypad membrane, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and main PCB, Faulty display/control panel PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the main power and remove the mower from the lawn before opening the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If the mower was recently washed or exposed to heavy rain, bring it indoors and allow the control panel to dry completely.
- Inspect keypad ribbon: Remove the top cover and locate the flat ribbon cable from the keypad/display to the main PCB. Ensure it is fully inserted and the locking tab is engaged.
- Check for corrosion: Look for green/white corrosion on the keypad connector. Clean gently with contact cleaner and a soft brush.
- Test buttons: After reassembly, power on and test each button. If some or all keys still do not respond and E13 remains, replace the Hyundai control panel assembly.
