Possible Causes
Front caster wheel jammed with debris, Worn caster bearing, Faulty caster rotation sensor (if equipped), Bent caster fork
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch OFF the mower and place it upside down on a stable surface.
- Clean caster: Remove grass, twine, and dirt from around the front caster wheel and fork. Ensure the wheel can rotate freely 360°.
- Check bearing: Spin the caster wheel by hand. If it feels rough or wobbly, the bearing may be worn and the caster assembly should be replaced.
- Inspect sensor (if present): Some LandXcape models monitor caster rotation. Check the sensor and wiring near the caster for damage or disconnection.
- Replace assembly: If cleaning does not resolve E19 and the wheel remains stiff or noisy, install a new LandXcape front caster wheel assembly.
