Robot mower frequently gets stuck or beached on small bumps, roots, or holes.

Possible Causes

Worn drive wheel treads, Low cutting height causing chassis to drag, Uneven lawn with holes or mounds, Front caster wheel seized

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before freeing it from any stuck position.

  • Inspect wheels: Check the rear drive wheels for worn or missing rubber treads. Replace wheels if traction is poor.
  • Check front caster: Ensure the front wheel (if fitted) rotates and swivels freely. Clean and lubricate the axle; replace if seized.
  • Raise cutting height: Increase the cutting height to reduce the chance of the chassis grounding on uneven spots.
  • Level the lawn: Fill holes and smooth high spots in the lawn where the mower repeatedly gets stuck.

Note: Some challenging terrain may always require occasional manual intervention.
