Parkside
Reduced Runtime / Battery Capacity Loss
Robot mower runs for a very short time (e.g., 10–20 minutes) before returning to charge or stopping, even with a full battery.

Possible Causes
Aged lithium-ion battery with reduced capacity, battery not fully charging due to contact issues, high grass load increasing current draw, battery BMS prematurely cutting off
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and remove it from the lawn before testing.
- Clean charging contacts: See E7 steps to ensure the battery is receiving a full charge.
- Measure runtime: Fully charge the mower, then time its operation on a relatively light lawn. Compare to the runtime specified in the Parkside manual.
- Check battery age: If the battery is more than 2–3 seasons old and runtime is significantly reduced, it is likely worn out.
- Reduce load: Raise cutting height and mow more frequently to reduce current draw.
When to replace: Install a new genuine Parkside battery pack if capacity loss is confirmed.
