Possible Causes
Wet rain sensor pads, shorted rain sensor cable, faulty rain sensor module, water inside top housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn the mower OFF and avoid operating it on wet grass.
- Dry the mower: Move the TerraMow to a dry, sheltered area. Wipe off visible water from the top cover and control panel.
- Inspect rain sensor: Locate the rain sensor area (often on the top shell). Clean off dirt or algae and dry the sensor surface.
- Check wiring: If accessible, inspect the rain sensor cable for damage or pinching where it enters the housing.
- Allow drying time: Leave the mower powered OFF indoors for 12–24 hours to ensure internal moisture evaporates.
- If E11 remains in dry conditions: Replace the TerraMow rain sensor module or bypass it only if the manufacturer allows this configuration.
