Possible Causes
Operating on a slope beyond TerraMow's rating, Worn drive wheel tread, Slippery or wet grass, Incorrect boundary placement on a hill
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Avoid standing downhill of the mower on slopes.
- Check slope angle: Verify that the area where E17 occurs does not exceed the maximum slope specified in the TerraMow manual.
- Adjust boundary: Move the boundary wire further away from steep edges or inclines to keep the mower on safer terrain.
- Inspect wheel tread: Examine the TerraMow drive wheels for worn or smooth tread. Replace the wheels if traction is poor.
- Avoid wet mowing: Schedule mowing when the grass is dry to improve grip and reduce load.
- If E17 appears on mild slopes: Check for drive motor weakness or gearbox damage, and replace the affected drive motor assembly if necessary.
