Possible Causes
Worn main brush bearings, Debris in side brush hub, Loose screws on bottom plate, Damaged fan impeller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from the dock before inspection.
- 1. Inspect main brush: Remove the main brush and check the end caps and bearings. If they are oval, cracked, or heavily worn, replace the brush assembly.
- 2. Check side brush: Remove the side brush and clean hair from the hub. Replace if the hub is cracked or the brush is badly deformed.
- 3. Tighten screws: Check the bottom cover screws and the screws around the brush module and wheel modules. Tighten any that are loose, but do not overtighten into plastic.
- 4. Listen to fan: Run the robot with the main brush removed. If the loud noise remains and seems to come from the center, the suction fan impeller may be damaged or obstructed and the fan assembly should be inspected or replaced.
