Possible Causes

Dock placed in a poor location, Blocked dock IR signal, Low battery before the robot can reach the dock, Misaligned docking sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dock before relocating it.

  • Reposition dock: Place the dock against a wall with clear space around it and avoid tight corners or under furniture.
  • Clean sensors: Wipe the robot's front docking sensor and the dock's IR window.
  • Test manual docking: Place the robot 1–2 m in front of the dock and press the Home button to see if it can find the base.
  • If it still fails: The Docking IR Receiver Board or dock emitter may be weak and require replacement.
