Possible Causes

Dustbin not fully seated, dustbin detection switch stuck, dustbin plastic tab broken, dustbin sensor wiring loose.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before removing the dustbin.

Step-by-step:

  • Remove and inspect dustbin: Check for cracks or broken locking tabs that might prevent full insertion.
  • Clean bin cavity: Use a dry cloth or small brush to remove dust from the dustbin slot and around the detection switch.
  • Locate detection switch: Look for a small plastic lever or micro‑switch inside the dustbin bay. Gently press it to ensure it moves freely.
  • Reinsert dustbin: Slide the bin straight in until it clicks. Do not leave it partially out.
  • Test operation: Turn the robot ON and start a cleaning cycle. Confirm that suction starts and E11 does not appear.

If E11 persists with a good dustbin: The dustbin detection switch or its wiring harness may be defective and require replacement.
