Possible Causes

Magnetic boundary strip mispositioned, Virtual wall battery low, Boundary sensor on robot dirty, Boundary sensor board failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the robot while you adjust boundary devices.

Step-by-step:

  • Check magnetic strips: Ensure ILIFE magnetic boundary strips are flat on the floor with the correct side up, as indicated in the manual.
  • Inspect virtual wall (if used): Replace its batteries and ensure the power switch is on.
  • Clean boundary sensor: Wipe the underside or front sensor window used for boundary detection with a soft cloth.
  • Test without boundaries: Remove all strips and virtual walls, then run the robot in an open area to see if E20 disappears.

If E20 still appears without any boundaries present: The boundary sensor board may be malfunctioning and require replacement.
