Robot vacuum leaks water or leaves puddles when in mopping mode

Possible Causes
Water tank cap or seal damaged, Tank valve stuck open, Mop pad not installed correctly, Robot stored with tank installed causing siphoning
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the water tank immediately. Keep water away from electrical contacts.
Step-by-step:
- Inspect tank: Check for cracks, damaged seals, or loose caps. Replace the tank if it is physically damaged.
- Check valve: Turn the tank upside down and observe the outlet. It should not drip continuously when not installed. If it does, the valve is faulty.
- Install mop pad correctly: Attach the mop cloth tightly to the mop bracket so it contacts the floor evenly and absorbs water.
- Remove tank when not in use: After mopping, always remove the water tank from the robot to prevent slow leaks during storage.
If leakage continues with a new pad and correct installation, replace the water tank assembly.
