Tesvor Traction / Ground Clearance Issue

Robot gets stuck frequently on low thresholds, rugs, or cords; its wheels spin but it cannot free itself.

Possible Causes

Worn drive wheel tires, weak wheel suspension springs, excessive weight from aftermarket accessories, low battery reducing torque.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the robot before inspecting the wheels.

Check wheels and suspension:

  • Inspect the drive wheel tires for wear or smoothness; replace if the tread is worn down.
  • Press down and release each wheel to ensure the suspension moves freely and springs back.

Usage adjustments:

  • Remove loose cables and very thick rugs from the cleaning area.
  • Avoid attaching heavy accessories that the robot was not designed for.

If traction remains poor: Replace worn wheel modules or tires. If the robot is older and the battery is weak, replacing the battery can also improve climbing ability.
