Possible Causes

Dock placed in a cramped or cluttered area, Dirty docking sensors, Weak Wi-Fi or map errors, Faulty charging dock

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the charging dock before moving or cleaning it.

  • Reposition dock: Place the charging dock against a flat wall with clear space on both sides and in front. Avoid corners, under furniture, or near stairs.
  • Clean sensors: Wipe the robot's front IR sensors and the charging dock's IR window with a microfiber cloth.
  • Rebuild map: If the robot uses mapping, delete and recreate the map to ensure accurate charging dock location.
  • Test manual docking: Place the robot 3–6 feet (1–2 m) in front of the charging dock and send it home via the app. If it still fails, try another power outlet for the charging dock.
  • If the problem persists: The charging dock or robot docking receiver may be faulty and may require replacement.
