Thermostat loses Wi-Fi connection intermittently but continues to control temperature locally.

Possible Causes

Weak signal, Channel congestion, Router power-saving features, Interference from neighboring networks

Step 1 – Check signal strength: In the thermostat menu or app, view Wi-Fi signal level. If low, move the router closer or add a Wi-Fi extender.
Step 2 – Change channel: Log into your router and set the 2.4 GHz channel to a less congested one (1, 6, or 11).
Step 3 – Disable router eco modes: Turn off aggressive power-saving or automatic disconnection of idle devices.
Step 4 – Fixed IP (optional): Assign a DHCP reservation for the thermostat to avoid IP conflicts.
