Thermostat rapidly turns the system on and off (short cycling).

Possible Causes
Cycle rate set too high, thermostat near a supply vent causing rapid temperature swings, loose thermostat on wall causing sensor instability.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No high-voltage work is required.
- Secure mounting: Ensure the Lux wall plate is firmly attached to the wall and the thermostat snaps on securely without wobble.
- Adjust cycle rate: In the installer menu, reduce the cycle rate (CPH) to a lower value appropriate for your system.
- Redirect airflow: If a supply vent blows directly on the thermostat, adjust the vent louvers or partially close the vent.
- Relocate thermostat: For severe cases, have a professional move the thermostat to a more stable location.
