The thermostat plastic housing is cracked or damaged after impact.

Safety first: If the casing is cracked, internal live or low-voltage parts may be exposed. Switch off power at the fused spur before touching.

• Inspect for exposure: Check whether any internal components or wiring are visible through the crack. If so, do not operate the thermostat until replaced.
• Check mounting: Ensure the wall plate is still firmly attached to the wall and not pulling on the thermostat body.
