Possible Causes
Heat HubR installed in a very hot cupboard or above a boiler, Blocked ventilation around the Heat HubR, Internal sensor failure, Power component overheating on the PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains power before touching the Heat HubR.
- Check mounting location: Ensure the Heat HubR is not installed directly above a boiler flue, in a sealed cupboard, or next to other heat sources.
- Improve ventilation: Provide airflow around the Heat HubR by opening cupboard doors or relocating items that block vents.
- Allow to cool: Leave the power off for 15–30 minutes to allow the unit to cool, then restore power and monitor.
If H05 recurs in a cool, well-ventilated location, the internal sensor or power components may be faulty. The Heat HubR should be replaced.
