Battery Not Charging / Parasitic Drain
Generator battery repeatedly goes dead between outages.

Possible Causes
Failed onboard battery charger, No AC supply to charger, Parasitic draw from accessories, Sulfated battery
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the generator and disconnect the battery negative terminal before testing the charging system.
- Check charger power: Confirm that the generator's internal charger is connected to a live AC source (often utility power inside the enclosure).
- Measure charge voltage: With utility power present, measure the voltage at the battery. It should be around 13.2–13.6V. If only battery voltage is present, the charger may be faulty.
- Inspect fuses: Check any inline fuses between the charger and battery and replace if blown.
- Replace charger or battery: Install a new DuroMax-compatible charger if it is not outputting. Replace an old or sulfated battery that will not hold a charge.
