• Check clearances: Verify that the generator has the minimum clearances from walls and vegetation as specified by Generac.
• Clean vents: Remove debris from intake and exhaust louvers. Ensure internal baffles are intact.
• Inspect exhaust routing: Confirm that exhaust extensions are properly supported and are not directing heat back onto the enclosure.
• Load check: Ensure the connected load does not exceed the generator's rated kW. Reduce the load if necessary.
