• Clean affected areas: Remove loose rust with a wire brush and wipe the surfaces clean.
• Apply rust converter and paint: Treat bare metal with a rust converter, then repaint with a corrosion-resistant coating compatible with Scheppach enclosures.
• Improve drainage: Ensure the generator base pad drains properly and that water does not pool around the frame.
• Seal enclosure: Replace damaged door seals and grommets to reduce moisture ingress.
