Possible Causes
Defective door lock feedback switch, broken wiring from the lock to the control board, control board input fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance.
Door lock feedback:
- Inspect lock: As described for F06, access the door lock and check its connector and wiring.
- Continuity test: With the lock removed, operate it manually (or energize carefully off the machine if skilled) and check that the feedback contacts open/close correctly with a multimeter.
Replace lock: If the feedback contacts are faulty, replace the door lock assembly. If the wiring and lock are good, the main control board may be at fault.
