Possible Causes

Faulty tachometer sensor, loose tachometer connector, damaged motor, failed motor driver on the control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance.

Motor speed feedback:

  • Inspect tachometer: As described for F21, check the tachometer coil on the motor shaft and its wiring.
  • Measure tachometer: With a multimeter, measure resistance across the tachometer coil; typical values are a few hundred ohms. Infinite resistance indicates a broken coil.

Resolution: Replace the motor if the tachometer is faulty and not separately replaceable. If the motor and wiring are good, the main control board may need replacement.
