Possible Causes
Faulty flow meter in the inlet valve assembly, blocked inlet filter screens, low water pressure, or a wiring fault to the flow sensor.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the water supply and unplug the appliance.
Check water supply and flow meter:
- Inlet filters: Disconnect the inlet hose(s) from the rear of the machine. Remove and clean the small mesh filters in the valve inlets.
- Water pressure: Ensure household water pressure is adequate (at least 1 bar). Low pressure can trigger F29.
- Flow meter: Some Bauknecht valves incorporate a flow sensor. Inspect the wiring connector and reseat it.
Replace valve: If F29 persists and the supply is good, replace the inlet valve assembly with an integrated flow meter.
