Possible Causes
Water in base tray triggering float switch, Leaking inlet hose with Aqua-Stop, Internal hose leak, Faulty float switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water taps.
- 1. Check Aqua-Stop hose (if fitted): If your Bosch has an Aqua-Stop inlet hose, inspect the external housing for signs of activation (indicator window or bulging). A triggered Aqua-Stop hose must be replaced.
- 2. Inspect base for water: Tilt the machine slightly and look into the base tray for water. If present, dry thoroughly and locate the leak source as in E13.
- 3. Test float switch: Ensure the float moves freely and the switch is not stuck in the activated position. Clean any debris.
- 4. Repair leaks: Tighten hose clamps, replace cracked hoses, and repair or replace any leaking components.
- 5. Reset and test: Once dry and repaired, plug in the machine and run a short cycle while monitoring for leaks and error recurrence.
