Washer-dryer drum does not turn during wash but can be turned by hand

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the rear panel.

• 1. Remove rear panel: Access the drum pulley and motor.
• 2. Inspect belt: Check if the belt is broken or off the pulleys. Replace if cracked, glazed, or stretched.
• 3. Refit belt: Place the belt around the motor pulley first, then partially onto the drum pulley and rotate the drum to seat the belt fully.
• 4. Check pulley alignment: Ensure the drum pulley is tight and not wobbling. Tighten or replace if necessary.
