Possible Causes
Severely unbalanced laundry load, Worn suspension shock absorbers, Faulty drum speed feedback (tachometer), Excessive suds causing slip.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep hands clear of the drum while the machine is running. Unplug the appliance before internal inspection.
- Step 1 – Redistribute load: Open the door once safe, redistribute laundry evenly around the drum, and remove heavy single items (e.g., one large blanket). Run a spin-only cycle.
- Step 2 – Reduce load size: Essentials washer-dryer combos are sensitive to overloading. Wash bulky items separately and avoid filling the drum more than about two-thirds full.
- Step 3 – Check for excessive suds: If you see a lot of foam, you may be using too much or non-HE detergent. Run an extra rinse and reduce detergent in future loads.
- Step 4 – Inspect suspension: Unplug the appliance and remove the rear or front lower panel to view the shock absorbers. If the tub bounces excessively or the shocks are leaking oil, replace the suspension shock absorbers as a set.
- Step 5 – If E08 repeats with light, balanced loads: The motor tachometer or control PCB may not be reading the speed correctly. This requires further electrical diagnosis and possibly motor or PCB replacement.
