Possible Causes
Shorted heater relay on PCB, Heating element shorted to earth, Wiring short in heating circuit, Faulty main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the machine. Heating components can retain heat; allow sufficient time for them to cool.
- Insulation test (advanced): Disconnect the heating element wires and use a megohmmeter or insulation tester between each heating element terminal and earth. Any low resistance indicates an earth fault; replace the heating element.
- Visual inspection: Check the heating element and its wiring for burn marks or melted insulation. Replace damaged parts.
- Check PCB: Access the main control board and inspect the heater relay area for scorching or cracked solder joints. If the relay is visibly damaged or stuck, replace the main control board (PCB).
- Do not bypass safety: Never bypass the heater relay or earth connections. If you are unsure, contact a qualified technician.
