Possible Causes

Clogged condenser or heat exchanger, Blocked lint filter or air ducts, Dirty moisture sensors, Weak dryer heater or fan.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning the drying system.

  • Clean lint filter: Remove and thoroughly clean the lint filter after every drying cycle.
  • Clean condenser: If removable, take out the condenser/heat exchanger and rinse under running water to remove lint and scale.
  • Clean moisture sensors: Wipe the metal sensor strips inside the drum with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove residues.
  • Check load size: Avoid overloading; follow Miele's recommended maximum drying load for your model.
  • Inspect fan and heater: If airflow is still poor, the fan or heater may be failing and should be tested and replaced by a technician.
