Possible Causes
Clogged drain filter reducing pump-out speed, unbalanced load causing reduced spin speed, spin speed set too low in program options, worn motor or tachometer causing under-speed spin.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before cleaning the filter.
- Step 1 – Check program settings: Ensure the selected program has an adequate spin speed and that any 'gentle' or 'reduced spin' options are not enabled.
- Step 2 – Clean the drain filter: Open the lower flap, remove, and clean the filter thoroughly.
- Step 3 – Load distribution: Avoid washing single heavy items. Add a few towels to balance the load and run an extra spin cycle.
- Step 4 – Observe the spin: If the drum never reaches high speed, motor or tachometer issues may be present and should be diagnosed as in E08.
