Washer displays "Sd" or "SUD"; excessive suds visible in the drum or tub; cycle may pause to allow suds to dissipate.

Safety: Do not open the door or lid while the washer is full of hot, soapy water.

• Let the cycle finish: The washer may extend rinse and drain times to clear suds. Allow it to complete.
• Run extra rinse: If suds remain, run an additional rinse & spin with no detergent.
• Use HE detergent only: Switch to high-efficiency (HE) detergent and use the minimum amount recommended for your load size and soil level.
• Clean washer: Run a "Clean Washer" or hot empty cycle with a washer cleaner tablet or 1 cup of white vinegar to remove detergent residue.
