Top-load washer stops during spin and displays "UL"; basket may be banging or off-balance.

Safety: Do not reach into the washer while it is spinning. Wait for the basket to stop completely.

• Redistribute load: Open the lid, move clothes evenly around the basket, and remove some items if the washer is overloaded.
• Run spin again: Close the lid and restart the spin cycle. Observe for excessive vibration.
• Check leveling: Ensure the washer is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust leveling feet and lock them in place.
• Inspect suspension: If UL occurs frequently with normal loads, inspect suspension rods, springs, and dampers for wear or oil leakage and replace as a set if worn.
