Washer has a strong musty or moldy odor inside the drum or around the door.

Safety: Use cleaning chemicals in a well-ventilated area and follow product instructions.

• Run cleaning cycle: Use the washer's "Clean Washer" cycle with a washer cleaner tablet or 1–2 cups of white vinegar. Run on the hottest setting.
• Clean door boot and dispenser:
  • Wipe the door gasket folds with a cloth and mild detergent or a 10% bleach solution.
  • Remove and clean the detergent drawer and housing.
• Leave door open: After each use, leave the door or lid slightly open to allow the interior to dry.
• Check for standing water: Ensure the drain pump and hoses are not partially clogged, leaving water in the tub or boot.
