Washer vibrates excessively or "walks" across the floor during spin.

Safety: Do not attempt to hold the washer in place while it is spinning. Let it stop before adjusting.

• Level the washer: Adjust the leveling feet so the washer is stable and does not rock. Tighten lock nuts.
• Remove shipping bolts: On front-load models, ensure all rear shipping bolts and spacers have been removed.
• Check floor: Place the washer on a solid, level surface. Reinforce weak floors or use an anti-vibration pad if necessary.
• Inspect suspension: Replace worn suspension rods (top-load) or shock absorbers (front-load) if vibration persists with balanced loads.
