Possible Causes
Defective water level pressure switch, Blocked pressure chamber on tub, Split or blocked pressure hose, Faulty wiring between pressure switch and PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and ensure there is no standing water that could spill when tilting the machine.
- Step 1 – Inspect the pressure hose and chamber:
- Remove the top cover.
- Locate the pressure switch and its rubber hose leading to the tub.
- Check the hose for splits, kinks, or disconnections.
- Detach the hose at the tub end and clean the pressure chamber nipple; remove any sludge or detergent buildup.
- Step 2 – Clear the hose:
- Blow through the hose to ensure it is clear.
- Replace the hose if it is hardened, cracked, or blocked.
- Step 3 – Check the pressure switch:
- Inspect for signs of moisture inside the switch or corrosion on terminals.
- Replace the switch if there is visible damage or if E08 recurs after hose cleaning.
- Step 4 – Wiring check:
- Ensure the connector at the pressure switch and at the PCB is firmly seated.
- Look for pinched or damaged wires along the harness route.
- If E08 continues, the control board input circuit may be faulty; contact an Arctic service center.
