• Step 2 – Inspect door handle and latch:
  • Check the handle for cracks or looseness.

  • Replace damaged handle or latch components.
• Step 3 – Check door lock assembly:
  • Remove the front gasket retaining spring and peel back the seal.
  • Unscrew and remove the door lock assembly.
  • Inspect for mechanical jamming or burning.
  • Replace the lock if it is stiff, burnt, or cracked.
• Step 4 – Test operation:
  • Reassemble, plug in the washer, and run a rinse/spin cycle to verify that the door locks and unlocks correctly.
• If E10 persists, the control board may not be sending the correct signal; professional diagnosis is recommended.
