Possible Causes
Water leak from door seal, Leak from tub-to-pump hose, Leak from inlet valve or dispenser, Activated base tray float switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off the water supply. Avoid tipping the machine excessively if there is water in the base tray.
- Step 1 – Inspect for visible leaks:
- Check around the door seal for tears, splits, or trapped objects.
- Look under the front of the washer for drips.
- Step 2 – Access base tray (if fitted):
- Remove the rear or side panel to view the base of the machine.
- If there is water in the tray, carefully sponge it out.
- Locate the float switch and ensure it moves freely.
- Step 3 – Identify leak source:
- Check the tub-to-pump hose, pump housing, and drain hoses for cracks or loose clamps.
- Inspect the inlet valve and dispenser hose for drips during a fill cycle (briefly power on for observation, then unplug again).
- Step 4 – Repair leaks:
- Tighten hose clamps or replace damaged hoses with Arctic-compatible parts.
- Replace a torn door seal if necessary.
- Step 5 – Reset and test:
- After drying the base tray and fixing leaks, reassemble panels.
- Plug in the washer and run a short cycle to confirm E13 is cleared.
- If leaks persist or the float switch remains triggered, seek professional service.
