How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before removing the control panel.
- Step 1 – Check for child lock:
- Consult the Arctic user manual to ensure E15 is not indicating an active child lock or key lock function.
- Try the documented key combination to disable the lock.
- Step 2 – Inspect control panel:
- Remove the top cover and the screws securing the control fascia.
- Gently pull the panel forward and inspect for moisture, detergent residue, or corrosion.
- Dry the area thoroughly if damp and clean with a soft cloth.
- Step 3 – Check ribbon cable:
- Ensure the ribbon cable between the user interface PCB and main board is fully inserted and not damaged.
- Step 4 – Button test:
- With the panel accessible, press each button to feel for sticking or lack of click.
- If buttons are physically stuck or the PCB is damaged, replace the control panel assembly.
- If E15 remains after these steps, the user interface PCB or main control board may require replacement by a technician.
