Possible Causes
Excessively unbalanced laundry load, Worn or broken suspension springs, Faulty shock absorbers, Defective unbalance detection in control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before inspecting internal suspension components.
- Step 1 – Rebalance the load:
- Open the door and redistribute laundry evenly around the drum.
- Remove very heavy single items (e.g., one large blanket) and wash with additional items to balance.
- Restart a spin cycle.
- Step 2 – Check machine leveling:
- Ensure the Arctic washer is level front-to-back and side-to-side using a spirit level.
- Adjust the feet and lock the nuts to prevent movement.
- Step 3 – Inspect suspension (advanced):
- Remove the rear or side panel.
- Check the suspension springs at the top of the tub for stretching or breakage.
- Inspect the shock absorbers at the bottom for oil leakage or looseness.
- Replace worn springs or shocks with Arctic-compatible parts.
- If E16 continues with normal loads and good suspension, the unbalance detection algorithm or sensor on the control board may be faulty; professional service is advised.
