Possible Causes
Incorrectly connected hot and cold hoses, Faulty flow meter (if fitted), Defective secondary inlet valve, Blocked dispenser inlet nozzles
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water taps before disconnecting hoses.
- Step 1 – Verify hose connections:
- Ensure the cold water hose is connected to the cold inlet and hot to hot (if the model uses both).
- Check that both taps are fully open.
- Step 2 – Clean dispenser inlet:
- Remove the detergent drawer and clean the top of the dispenser where water enters.
- Use a brush to remove scale or detergent buildup from the inlet nozzles.
- Step 3 – Inspect inlet valves:
- Remove the top cover and locate the inlet valves.
- Check wiring and connectors for secure fit.
- If one valve coil is open circuit (test with a multimeter), replace the valve assembly.
- If E17 persists, the flow meter or control board may be at fault; contact an Arctic technician.
