How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use appropriate cleaning agents and avoid mixing chemicals (e.g., bleach and acids).
- Step 1 – Clean door seal:
- Wipe the gasket folds with a cloth and mild detergent or a dedicated washing machine cleaner.
- Remove visible mold and residue.
- Step 2 – Run maintenance wash:
- Run an empty 90°C cycle with a machine cleaner or a cup of washing soda (follow product instructions).
- Step 3 – Clean detergent drawer:
- Remove the drawer and soak it in hot water.
- Scrub away mold and detergent buildup.
- Clean the drawer housing as well.
- Step 4 – Improve ventilation:
- Leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open between washes to allow drying.
- Step 5 – Check drain system:
- Clean the pump filter and ensure there is no stagnant water.
- Repeat maintenance washes periodically to prevent recurrence.
