How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before removing the control panel.
- Step 1 – Check door and lock:
- Ensure the door is firmly closed until you hear a click.
- Look for obstructions on the door seal or latch.
- Step 2 – Verify child lock:
- Consult the Arctic manual for the child lock/key lock function.
- Use the specified button combination to disable it.
- Step 3 – Reset the machine:
- Unplug for 5 minutes, then plug back in and try selecting a simple program.
- Step 4 – Inspect control panel (advanced):
- Remove the top cover and control fascia.
- Check for moisture or corrosion on the user interface PCB.
- If buttons are physically stuck or the PCB is damaged, replace the control panel assembly.
- If the washer still will not start, the main control board or communication between boards may be faulty; contact an Arctic service center.
