Possible Causes

Partially blocked pump filter, obstruction in sump hose, weak or failing drain pump, kinked or blocked external drain hose.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and prepare for water spillage.

Step-by-step checks:

  • Clean the filter and sump: As with E03, remove and clean the pump filter. Also remove the tub-to-pump (sump) hose and check for socks, coins, or debris.
  • Check pump performance: During a drain cycle, observe the water flow from the drain hose into a bucket. A weak flow suggests a failing pump.
  • Replace the pump if needed: If the pump is noisy, intermittent, or has low output despite clear hoses, replace the drain pump.
