Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and close the water taps before removing hoses.
- Check water supply: Ensure the household tap feeding the washer is fully open and that there is adequate water pressure. Try another tap in the house to confirm supply.
- Clean inlet filters: Turn off water, disconnect the inlet hose(s) from the back of the Candy washer, and remove the small mesh filters inside the valve inlets. Rinse under running water and refit.
- Inspect inlet hose: Check for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage in the hose. Replace if damaged.
- Test inlet valve: With power disconnected, remove the top cover, locate the water inlet valve, and check the coil resistance with a multimeter. If open circuit or shorted, replace the valve assembly with a Candy-compatible part.
- Check pressure system: Inspect the thin pressure hose from the drum/air chamber to the pressure switch for splits, blockages, or disconnection. Clean any soap residue or debris and refit securely.
If the valve and pressure system are fine but E02 persists, the main control board may not be energising the valve correctly and should be checked by a professional.
