Possible Causes

Blocked dryer air path, Faulty dryer NTC sensor, Failed thermal fuse or thermostat, Control board sensing error

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power and allow the machine to cool.

  • Clean airflow path: Remove lint from all accessible ducts, the condenser area, and around the dryer heater.
  • Check thermostats and fuses: Locate thermal cut-outs on the dryer heater housing. Test for continuity; replace any open thermostats or fuses with Candy-approved parts.
  • Test dryer NTC: Measure resistance and verify it changes with temperature. Replace if readings are out of specification.

If airflow and sensors are fine, the PCB may be misreading the temperature and should be checked professionally.
