Possible Causes
Load too small or too large, Mixed heavy and light items, Worn suspension or shock absorbers, Faulty imbalance detection in control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Wait until the door unlocks before opening.
- Redistribute load: Open the door, separate tangled items, and balance heavy items (e.g., towels) around the drum. Remove some items if the drum is overfilled.
- Run spin-only: Select a spin-only program to see if the machine can reach full speed.
- Check suspension: If the machine bangs or moves excessively, inspect the shock absorbers and springs from underneath or via rear access. Replace worn dampers.
If E20 appears with normal loads and the suspension is sound, the control board's imbalance logic may be faulty and require professional diagnosis.
