How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No electrical work required for cleaning.
- Drum clean cycle: Run a maintenance wash at 90°C with no laundry, using a washing machine cleaner or a cup of white vinegar (check Candy manual for recommendations).
- Clean gasket: Wipe the door seal folds with a cloth and mild detergent, removing black mould and residue.
- Clean detergent drawer: Remove the drawer and scrub away mould and detergent build-up. Clean the housing as well.
- Ventilation: Leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open between washes to allow drying.
