• Listen for click: When closing the door, you should hear a distinct click from the latch. If not, the latch or strike may be worn and require replacement.
• Access door switch: Remove the front panel or door seal clamp (front-load) to reach the door switch. Check the connector for a secure fit and no corrosion.
• Replace faulty switch: If the switch does not show continuity when the door is closed (tested with a multimeter), replace the door switch/lock assembly with a compatible Comfee part.
