Possible Causes
Unevenly distributed laundry, Single heavy item causing imbalance, Worn suspension rods or dampers, Leveling feet not adjusted correctly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not place hands inside the drum while it is spinning. Wait until the drum stops completely.
- Redistribute load: Open the lid/door when safe, rearrange clothes evenly around the drum. Avoid washing a single heavy item (like a bath mat) alone; add a few lighter items to balance.
- Check machine level: Use a bubble level on the top of the washer. Adjust the front and rear leveling feet so the washer is stable and does not rock when pushed diagonally.
- Inspect suspension: For top-load Comfee models, remove the top panel and inspect suspension rods and springs for wear or breakage. For front-load models, inspect shock absorbers at the bottom front and rear for oil leakage or looseness.
- Run spin test: After adjustments, run a spin-only cycle with a medium, balanced load to confirm the error is resolved.
- Replace worn parts: If the tub bounces excessively when pushed down by hand and released, replace the suspension rods (top-load) or shock absorbers (front-load).
