Possible Causes
Failed heater element, Faulty NTC sensor, Loose heater wiring, Defective heater relay on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the heater circuit.
- Check for warm glass: During a hot cycle, lightly touch the door glass after 15–20 minutes. If it remains cold, heating is not working.
- Inspect heater terminals: Remove rear panel and check heater connections for looseness or burning.
- Test heater and NTC: Use a multimeter to verify heater resistance and NTC sensor values. Replace any component that is out of specification.
- Control relay: If both heater and NTC are good, the heater relay on the PCB may be stuck or open. Board replacement is usually required.
